Hi there!
So happy to join Michelle again this year in a slight variation on her annual "Challenge me a Christmas card " event ... CASE me a Christmas Card :
This is how it works in Michelle's own words :
" From October to December, I will link to a series of guest cardmakers on my blog. I will CASE one of their cards, and they will CASE one of mine! CASE stands for Copy And Share Everything - but it's not about just copying a card. It's about getting inspiration from cardmaking friends, but making a new card that is our own. And, of course, the card we each make has to be a Christmas card!"
You can find the card I used for my inspiration on her blog here .
My card :
You can take a look at the card Michelle made inspired by one of my cards over here !
List of elements : Monochromatic blue color scheme , Fishtail banner ,
sentiment - layered - die cut - landscape orientation
Include : Color scheme , Die cut sentiment over sentiment
Modify : Alternating colors of letters translated to striped BG , Fishtail banner translated to sentiment, portrait orientation
Exclude : watercolor
Spin : Cut out sentiment, silver sticker strips added to BG , rhinestones
After I decided which elements I wanted to use, my card came together quickly with the help of my Silhouette cameo. I used scraps of blue card stock to create the background, and added some age old peel off silver strips to add interest and give my card a more festive look.
Fonts used : 'Autumn Chant' and 'KG A little swag'
I added the layered sentiment to complete my Christmas card in non traditional colors !
Thanks for the invitation Michelle !
PS : Michelle's card is a surprise to me ... so as I type here, I am so excited to see what she made !
Thanks for visiting me today!

This is so cool! I always find it surprising which cards of mine people choose to Case - I love how inventive you’ve been in changing up my card! Thank you so much for being my guest 😊
I love using shades of blue for Christmas cards. Yours is fabulous. The strong graphic design is so eye-catching.
Wonderful CASE!
